Elea Plotkin has performed at Denver's Gothic Theatre, Dazzle Jazz Club, the Bluebird Theatre, the Little Bear, as well as numerous fundraising events. Her own compositions have played on Colorado and national radio stations. Elea sang soprano with the Cherry Creek Chorale, which performed at Carnegie Hall. She artfully performed in English, German, French, Latin and Italian acompanied by both the Colorado Symphony and the Denver Brass while a member of the Chorale.
Elea describes her style as a blend of jazz-infused pop influenced by artists such as Billie Holiday, Carole King, and Bonnie Raitt. She also mixes in a taste of Gershwin and classical favorites to create a compelling concert of surprising originallity and depth.
